Would the attackers copy data from the server, they would not be able to decrypt them. But if the data will be requested by the intelligence agencies, then there will be nothing LAFORT could do.
The company refused to have access to it – it is not possible to steal it from somebody except you. Thus, on the one side, you are protected from hacking as much as possible, but on the other side, the responsibility for password storage lies on you. However, it is possible to reset the password using the recovery key which is divided into 2 parts. One part is kept by the company, the other by you.
